Sleep Clause Species Clause Evasion Clause OHKO Clause No Unfair Hacks Clause No Ubers Clause No Hax Items Clause No Disconnecting Clause >> General List of Battle Clauses: (Please keep in mind that this list includes both standard and non-standard battle clauses.) A-G No Baton Pass Chains A Baton Pass Chain is where you use Baton Pass to pass on a set of stat boosts (or anything similar) to another Pokémon who, in turn, will add more stat boosts and Baton Pass them to another Pokémon, thus creating a chain. This clause does not allow this strategy to be used. Choice Clause This clause bans the use of Choice Items like Choice Band, Choice Specs, and Choice Scarf. Confusion Clause This clause bans the use of confusion-inducing moves. No Disconnecting STANDARD CLAUSE Disconnecting in the middle of a battle is not allowed. Evasion Clause STANDARD CLAUSE The use of moves or items that increase a Pokémon's evasion is prohibited. Everything Goes No other clauses are in effect. Just do whatever you want as long as a winner emerges from the battle. Freeze Clause You cannot freeze an opponent's Pokémon if another one of his Pokémon is already frozen. H-M No Hacks Clause STANDARD CLAUSE This clause bans the use of Pokémon obtained through a cheating device like an Action Replay or a PokeSav. No Unfair Hacks Clause POKELIGHT STANDARD CLAUSE This special clause bans the use of Hacked Pokémon that give the rule-breaker an unfair advantage in battle. This clause exists under the belief that not all Hacked Pokémon give a player an unfair advantage. Unfair Hacked Pokemon include those that have any of the ff: Stats that are higher (or lower) than what it could legally have. Consult Serebii.net's 4th Gen Pokedex for the legal maximum and minimum stats for every Pokémon at Lv 50 and Lv 100. A moveset that could not be obtained through normal means. It is possible to for Azumarill to have either Belly Drum or Aqua Jet as attacks; however, it is impossible to breed both moves onto the same Pokémon. An ability that it is not supposed to have. Example: Only Shedinja can have Wonder Guard as an ability. Any other Pokémon with this ability is a Hacked Pokémon that gives the user an unfair advantage over his opponent. Another Example: The Pokémon has altered moves. (ie. Ground-type Quick Attack). Others... Example: Illegal Gender, Altered typing. Any form of abnormalities on the Pokémon that could affect the flow of the battle. No Hax Items STANDARD CLAUSE This clause prohibits the use of any hold items that rely on luck in order to be activated. The following hax items are the exemptions to the rule: Scope Lens, Razor Claw, and Stick. List of Prohibited Hax Items Brightpowder Focus Band King's Rock Lax Incense Quick Claw Razor Fang Lansat Berry Lucky Punch. Item Clause Two or more Pokémon cannot hold the same item. Moves like Trick, Thief, and Switcheroo do not break this clause. No Legendary Pokémon The use of any Pokémon deemed as "Legendary" is not allowed. N-T OHKO STANDARD CLAUSE This clause bans the use of OHKO moves; namely, Horn Drill, Fissure, Guillotine, and Sheer Cold. Self KO This clause stops the use of Destiny Bond, Perish Song, Selfdestruct, and Explosion for the sake of forcing a tie. No SkarmBliss SkarmBliss is the name given to the Skarmory-Blissey walling duo. This clause bans the use of both Pokémon being used on the same team. Sleep Clause STANDARD CLAUSE Sleep-inducing moves cannot be used on an opponent's Pokémon if another one of his Pokémon is already asleep. Exemptions include sleep-induced by Effect Spore or Rest. Species Clause STANDARD CLAUSE You must not have two of the same species of Pokémon on your team. No Switching This clause bans you from switching out a Pokémon unless your Pokémon gets knocked out. U-Z No Ubers STANDARD CLAUSE The use of any Pokémon deemed as "Uber" is not allowed. Most Wi-Fi communities follow Smogon's Uber List. The first part lists which clauses PLF enforces, while the second part lists all of the battle clauses that exist in the world. And your post has given me the reason to edit it in order to make it much more clear.
