When Pokémon diamond/pearl came out, i played it very competitively for a while, but I retired at least a year and a half ago. However, I told myself I would come back when gold and silver were remade and now that is two weeks away and here I am. The reason I am at this forum in particular is because I knew Hiro back when I was still active and he told me and Shia that this was the forum he went to. I hope this place won't let me down.

Welcome to Pokelight Forums! I'm Hollow Abyss, the current co-owner of the forums. I was, also, a competitive battler in Diamond / Pearl, but my wifi stopped working a few months after the games came out and I didn't bother returning to competitive battling afterward. I, myself, haven't played a Pokémon game in months, but I'm awaiting the arrival of HeartGold and SoulSilver. Seeing that you're new to the forums, be sure to check out the board rules first. We do have a chatbox, but it's mostly dead during weekdays because most of our members have school. Most of our forum activity is from Friday to Sunday, with over 250-500 posts each given day during the weekend. We will be modifying our wifi center with our upcoming project, we also have a new TRPG, as well an arcade, if that suits your fancy. Now, my standard welcoming line: Hi, rocket! I'm Tobi! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! We will do our best to not let you down. If we don't, then we tried. I battle competitively, but it's all mostly theory, as in my knowledge is mostly based on research. I still think I need to improve myself, or breed myself more Pokémon. I'm just waiting for HeartGold because of the new Power Item mechanic for IV-Breeding.
