With the upcoming fifth generation, what Pokemon do you expect to get pre-evolutions or evolutions? | |

I think it'd be cool to have a Heracross evolution that isn't too powerful ~ a change similar to the upgrade from Rhydon >> Rhyperior. Seriously, Rhydon was gg in 3rd gen with base base 130 Atk, 120 Def, 105 HP and access to Rock Blast, Megahorn, and Earthquake. Base 100 Speed and base 130 Atk would do, and maybe learn some elemental moves. | |

Flying/Fighting Farfetch'd evolution. (you know it could use its stick as like a martial arts pole) A Sableye evolution would be cool. After all he is one of my favorite pokemon so i would like to use some form of him in my team. Maybe stats similar to Weavile would be cool. I was thinking that Tauros evolutions simmilar to Eevee's with the stones would be cool. Like a water buffalo water form would be cool, or a bison fire form. Bug/Steel Pinsir evolution. He could probably be some sort of tank. A hydra-like Arbok evolution would be cool with multiple heads. Ghost and fighting Eevee evolution would be nice. The ghost one could have smoke coming off of it and the fighting one could stand upright. With a firestone Cacturne could evolve into a Grass/Fire type. It already looks like a scarecrow so it could have a pumpkin head with flames coming out of its mouth and eyes. Sense sunflowers are known for being tall some sort of tall Sunflora would make sense i guess. I don't really have any idea what it would be but maybe there could be a ditto evolution. A Ground/Rock evolution for Marowak would be nice. It could have like a t-rex skull as a head. That's all i got for now Edited by Ryno, Feb 19 2010, 01:02 PM.

You'd probably have new Eevee evolutions, although bare in mind there were no new evolutions for Eevee in Gen Three. Maybe a steel type evolution for Hercross, to join the likes of Scyther and Pineco. Also the same for Pinsor. It deserves an evolution! |

Eevee evolutions eh? I suspect we will either skip that all together like Generation III, or go further and dive into the chain and actually do Physical Types. They include- Fighting Flying Poison Ground Rock Bug Ghost Steel We could also have Dragon Eevee and leave it at that. My real question concerning Eevee, if we get more evolution possibilities, how the hell are they going to do it? More evolutionary stones? Or something similar to Moss Rock? Time of day...dawn and evening included now? Or even leveling up with a certain move like Lickitung? I think Eevee is going to remain untouched until Generation VI. Other evolutions...Pachirisu? It's one of those midget Pokemon that are really just "there" not for HM Enslaving like Bidoof/Bibarel, but just in the game to get to number 493. Similar to Luvdisc. Evolutions for Pokemon like Luvdisc and Pachirisu would be brilliant, however, not too complex. Not from cute squirrel to rabid mad beaver. That wouldn't work.  Heracross evolution? Why not throw in Pinsir? I for one love Pinsir more than Heracross...yes sue me for saying that. What would it be like? I think it would retain the types it has, just more awesome looking with better stats, and a few new moves. That would be all I expect from a Heracross evolution. What do you guys think about...dun dun dun, a Miltank/Tauros pre-evo!? This would be interesting. An official link by evolution trees between the two. Female is evolved into Miltank, male into Tauros. I think this would be sweet. That is all I got for now, more later... |

I personally don't think that more Eeveelutions are needed. They need to remain their authenticity, and with more eeveelutions, that authenticity will slowly dissipate. Pokémon like Pachirisu and Luvdisc, though should have evolutions to make it 'fair', are primarily for that exact use, HM Slave and Pokédex filler. Sometimes, it's good to have filler Pokémon because if every Pokémon evolved, it would be rather awkward, in my opinion. Pinsir has been ignored lately, but if anything, there won't be evolution. Pinsir had the possibility of gaining an evolution during the second, third, and even fourth generations but never got one; therefore it is highly unlikely that there will be an evolution for a first generation Pokémon. I, for one, am not looking forward to pre-evolutions and evolutions to existing Pokémon. For once, I'd like the people at The Pokémon Company and Nintendo to actually use their creativity, which they lack at this point with their remakes and constant, random, pre-evolutions and evolutions. |

If Heracross gets an Evo and keeps his typing I can guarantee you will all be complaining about him <2 months after gen 5 is released. Can't see pachirisu evolving because it's 4th gen's pikachu-type poke. Luvdisk/Farfetch'd want evolutions to make people want to look at them again, agreeing that Pinsir wants an evo so he can be as powerful as BP scizor or "look at me with dual 120 STAB" Heracross, and he's arguably the most badass out of the lot. |

If Heracross gets an evolution, it will definitely be ranked alongside Pokemon like Garchomp, Lucario, and such. Heracross is strong enough as it is. An evolution would surely make it seem like a complete hax. |

Zangoose - Becoming a tiger like thing Seviper - Becoming a dragon like thing Dragon Type Eeveelution - Finish the special, don't touch physical Farfetch'd and Chatot - Huge birds that would own in Metagame Pachirisu and Luvdisc - Into some sort of giant rabid squirrel, 10 feet tall; a heart on the verge of tearing... Mawile - Huge Venus fly trap thing that's Steel/Grass Steelix - Magmix - Fire/Ground I honestly want to see a tiny Pokemon get an evolution into something friggin huge... |

I'd like to see an evolution for Pachirisu myself, although to what I don't know. Maybe a fox like thing, as opposed to a giant squirrle. That would be... wierd. Farfetch'd evolution... the bo wielding feather bag! Maybe a Pokemon version of Garudamon from Digimon. |

I'm actually afraid to imagine what Pachirisu would look like evolved. And I hope that if Farfetch'd did evolve I hope it has a move like Cubone and it's Bone Rush/ Bone Club | |

Pachirisu would evolve into a big, buff squirrel, just like when May imagined Torchic's evolution to be a buffer version of itself. Putting all silliness aside, they would (and should) give Mawile an evolution. She's your type, she's got talent (in the forms of Hyper Cutter and Intimidate), and she's got the moves. All she needs are the stats, which she sadly doesn't have. |

I can see Heracross having a pre-evolution, but for some reason, I just can't imagine Pinsir having one. A pre-evolution for Heracross would be alright, but I want to see something new from Nintendo, not improvements on previous evolutionary lines and Pokémon. |

Kangaskhan NEEDS a pre-evolution, or else it doesn't make sense that it has a baby. I also think these should get an evo: Dunsparce Mawile Sableye Absol? Relicanth Skarmory Spinda Pachirisu I also think it would be cool if there was a new Poke that evolves depending on its nature or something (example: A evolves in to B if it has any nature except Adamant. If A has an Adamant nature, it evolves into C) |
