Bess to see Thockmorton Posts: 882 Group: Administrators Member #1 Joined: Aug 25, 2008	Well, if anyone's checked the Spacial Rend, you've probably seen Hollow's post that says I'm resigning. Well, he wasn't lying. Though I wanted to be the one to tell you all myself, I guess I can't do anything about that now. So I'll explain myself briefly: I used to like this site. A lot. But for some reason, I can't stand this place now. I can't describe it any other way: this site feels like a shadow of its former self. And no, it's not the trolls. It's not the fluctuation in activity. It's not anyone's fault either, so don't start a war over this. There's just nothing for me to do here anymore. I don't want to just 'fade out' of the community without leaving a post behind, because the assumption might be that I'm just taking a break. Let's face it: my presence here isn't going to benefit PLF, since I barely do anything as admin or a 'community member' in general. (You might suggest that I demote myself like Hollow did, but I doubt that would change anything. If anyone's noticed, most of my activity consists of logging on, lurking around for an hour or so, and logging off.) The reason for this is because I've found a 'home', if you could call it that, on other forums. Even on those, I'm less active than I once was. In a year or so, I might give up discussion forums altogether and reduce my computer activity to more practical things. Until then, I'll probably be on PC and SPPF. As for my account here, do what you want with it. For me, it really doesn't matter if I remain Admin, or retired Admin, etc. You'll barely see me around, if at all. I might stop by for a visit once in a while, I created this site, but by now, I hope it's gotten large enough to continue growing on its own. Hikari, out. (I was originally going to lock this topic and leave it that way, but I guess if anyone has any questions, they can post them here... I'll try to be on for a few more hours.)

It was nice working alongside with out while PLF was still a young forum with plenty of potentials. I'm really sad to see you leave, perhaps not to see PLF rise to its potential. I suppose you are right, the forum no longer holds that magical touch it once had, but I guess there's nothing that can be done about that. As for the future, I guess we'll keep you as a retired admin, but I suppose it wouldn't matter. You certainly did a great job maintaining balance in the forums especially when trouble broke out, whether it be a community dilemma or just a member-to-member conflict. Even though you weren't active, your presence as admin will definitely be missed. I hope that you'll return to see PLF grander than you left it, and maybe, you never know, return as admin. Posts: 1,063 Group: Global Moderators Member #41 Joined: Nov 14, 2008	There's not really a lot I can post here except that I will sorely miss you We might not have had lengthy discussions but you always were viewed highly among many and me as one of those people and your presence in the Fan Fic corner will also be missed and I hope that I for one can try and keep that area active and on going. I would love to see you return one day that is for sure and see PLF in higher glory. One question though - what is your username on the other forums? And Bye Hikari I'm pleased to have met you

Of all People next to Tobi and Phen, You are probably as real as it is. You're posts had value, and when something was on your mind you would speak it. Im going to miss you alot. A real lot.
