February... The month of love... The month of romance... The month of heartbreaks... But who cares about romance when you can enter a Pokemon Tournament?! Rules Each player must have a full team of 6 Pokemon. All battles will be conducted as Single Battles. Species Clause is ON. No more than one of a species on a team, i.e., you can't have two different Dragonite on the same team. (darkpersian479; 1/9/10) No Ubers Clause is ON. Smogon University's list of Uber Pokemon, as of 1/9/10 (9:51 PM - GMT+8) Arceus Darkrai Deoxys Deoxys (Attack Forme) Deoxys (Defense Forme) Deoxys (Speed Forme) Dialga Garchomp Giratina Giratina (Origin Forme) Groudon Ho-oh Kyogre Latios Lugia Manaphy Mew Mewtwo Palkia Rayquaza Shaymin (Sky Forme) Wobbuffet Wynaut No Unfair Hacked Pokemon Clause is ON. Unfair Hacked Pokemon include those that have any of the ff: Stats that are higher (or lower) than what it could legally have. Consult Serebii.net's 4th Gen Pokedex for the legal maximum and minimum stats for every Pokemon at Lv 50 and Lv 100. A moveset that could not be obtained through normal means. It is possible to for Azumarill to have either Belly Drum or Aqua Jet as attacks; however, it is impossible to breed both moves onto the same Pokemon. An ability that it is not supposed to have. Example: Only Shedinja can have Wonder Guard as an ability. Any other Pokemon with this ability is a Hacked Pokemon that gives the user an unfair advantage over his opponent. Another Example: The Pokemon has altered moves. (ie. Ground-type Quick Attack). Others... Example: Illegal Gender, Altered typing. Any form of abnormalities on the Pokemon that could affect the flow of the battle. Sleep Clause is ON; however, players may decide to battle with the clause turned OFF. Both players must be in agreement with turning the clause OFF, or else. You can put no more than one opposing Pokemon to sleep at a time. You (and your opponent) can have multiple Pokemon asleep only if it's self afflicted, i.e., Rest. (darkpersian479; 1/9/10) All other battle clauses not mentioned above are assumed to be OFF. All battle results must be submitted to the tournament organizer ( *tobi-ksla* ) either via posting in this thread or via PM. Failure to do so before the given deadline will result in the immediate disqualification of both players. All PLF rules apply. (Relax! They're easy to follow!) Simple. This round will last until February 14, 2010 - 11:59 PM (GMT -12) or until all battles have been settled. Results of all battles must be submitted to the tournament organizer February 14, 2010 - 11:59 PM (GMT -12). Ok, so maybe there was a winner, but that would be me, and I'm the one providing the prize, so there really isn't any point... ... Arceus, I hate myself... Oh well... Let's just hope the Johto Grand Prix will turn out better, like seeing it complete itself before dying... Oh well... Special thanks to everyone who have joined.
