  • Unfair Hacked Pokemon include those that have any of the ff:

    • Stats that are higher (or lower) than what it could legally have.

      • Consult Serebii.net's 4th Gen Pokedex for the legal maximum and minimum stats for every Pokemon at Lv 50 and Lv 100.
        
    • A moveset that could not be obtained through normal means.
      
      • 
        
      • It is possible to for Azumarill to have either Belly Drum or Aqua Jet as attacks; however, it is impossible to breed both moves onto the same Pokemon.
        
    • An ability that it is not supposed to have.
      
      • 
        
      • Example: Only Shedinja can have Wonder Guard as an ability. Any other Pokemon with this ability is a Hacked Pokemon that gives the user an unfair advantage over his opponent.
        
      • Another Example: The Pokemon has altered moves. (ie. Ground-type Quick Attack).
        
    • Others...
      
      • 
        
      • Example: Illegal Gender, Altered typing. Any form of abnormalities on the Pokemon that could affect the flow of the battle.

• Stones imbued with a mysterious power. Strangely, these stones can only evolve a male Kirlia into a Gallade and a female Snorunt into a Froslass. Other info about these funky rocks is still shrouded in mystery, but the stones themselves do make fitting prizes to celebrate the DAWN of a new year. Yeah, corny reason, but at least there IS a prize.

Round 1: Elimination

• What you do: Beat your opponent and move on to the next round. Simple.
  
• This round will last from January 10 to January 16 or until all battles have been settled.
  
• Results of all battles must be submitted to the tournament organizer before the end of January 17.
  
  • 
    
  • Failure to submit the results of the battle will lead to immediate disqualification of both battlers involved.
    
  • Why January 17? Because I'm aware of how Time Zones can mess things up.

Round 2: Round Robin

• What you do: You fight the other participants. You get points based on the the number of Pokemon you've managed to keep alive at the end of each battle.
  
  • So, if at the end of a battle, if you managed to keep 3 of your Pokemon alive, you get 3 points. The loser gets no point.
    
• This round will run from January 19 to January 31 or until all battles have been settled.
  
• Battler with the most points at the end of the round is crowned champion!
  
• Results of all battles must be submitted to the tournament organizer before the end of Feb 1 (GMT +8).
  
  • 
    
  • Due to the nature of the round robin style, both battlers involved in unsettled battles will get no points from the battle.
    
  • Why Feb 1 (GMT +8)? Because I'm aware of how Time Zones can mess things up.

• Do not think that I set the deadline to January 31 to give participant Doragon Matata a chance to continue. I was planning on making this round last for the rest of the month because of the nature of the round robin system. Would one week be enough for a battler to hold two battles? I doubt it since people have lives outside of PLF.
  
  
• Doragon Makata requests that Hikari take his place in Round 2 if he decides to drop out of the tourney. I shall consult both.
