All warnings will be divided among ten points. Note: All warning reasons will be worth one point (10 Percent), unless stated otherwise. A verbal warning precedes the first 10 reasons. Abusing Smilies Spamming (per post) Abusing the Report System Talking Back To Staff Abusive Criticism Disobeying Forum-Specific Rules Sending Abusive & False Reports (Accusations) Multi-Posting (Purposefully) Mini-Modding (see board rules) Advertising (Anything outside of your signature) See below* Sending Unsolicited PMs & Emails ( // PM Advertising) \|\| Move to PM Restricted Group Sending Chain PMs (to staff) \|\| Move to PM Restricted Group Consistent Foul Language \|\| Place under moderation for 1 week Insulting Other Members & Staff \|\| 1 week ban Flaming Other Members & Staff \|\| 1 week ban Giving your account details to a Banned user \|\| 1 month ban Providing Links to Downloads of Illegal Content \|\| No points \|\| Permanent ban Pure Trolling \|\| No points \|\| Permanent ban Posting pornography or other explicit material \|\| No points \|\| Permanent ban Evading Ban \|\| No points \|\| Permanent ban - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Advertising can fall under many categories. Posting Links: If you post a link, we will simply ask you to remove it. If you don't remove it or choose to continue posting links to other websites or forums, then you will will be infracted. PM / Email Advertising:** This is strictly forbidden, don't do this. You will be caught. This includes Chatango. If you advertise in our chatbox, you will receive a verbal warning asking you not to do it again. If you continue, you will receive an infraction along with a one week ban from the chatbox. If you are caught advertising through private chat on Chatango, you will be reported to Chatango for sending unsolicited messages / advertising and banned from the chatbox itself for one week. Email advertising works the same way. You will receive an infraction as well as a PM restriction for two months. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - For reasons 1-9, the infraction expires after one month. Reasons 10-13 expire after four months. Reasons 14-20 do not expire. Members that are moved the PM Restricted Group will remain in that group for two months, along with the infraction. This really isn't something we want you to memorize. It's really more of a reference point for staff members and for you to see, as members. We won't pressure you with strictly following rules, no. Everyone makes mistakes and we understand that. We will utilize our infraction system when absolutely necessary. Feel free to comment on the infraction system and how you feel it can be improved. I consider trolling as an act of disregarding all rules just to post spammy and inflammatory messages for that troll's advantage.
