 1. The Eevee you receive from Bill.
2. Goldenrod and the bike's them music.
3. Vileplume's sprite and cry. It's pitch black.
4. Better graphics than R/B/Y/G. The Pokemon have a better sprite and color too, so you're able to tell what they actually look like.
5. G/S/C introduced steel and dark type. The only time where new types were introduced.
6. Your rival kicks you into the air when you caught him looking at the starter Pokemon at the lab.
7. The radio feature on the PokeGear.
8. The bug catching contest.
9. Blissey with it's high HP.
10. Whirl Island.

 12. The HM Whirlpool. G/S/C was the only game with Whirlpool as a HM.
13. Sneasel's sprite and cry.
14. Kurt. He makes Pokeballs using apricorn.
15. The Shuckle you can "steal" or breed from the trainer in Cianwood.
16. Mew's Crystal animation lights up.

19. Ilex Forest with it's Pokemon.
20. G/S/C introduce Day Cares and Pokemon.
21. You have a higher chance of hatching a shiny Pokemon if one of it's parents is shiny.
22. Sprout Tower with it's trainers full of Bellsprouts.
