Had an epic battle with a powerful opponent? Did you learn from a loss and wanted to share this wisdom with others? Did something unbelievable happen like getting a Critical Hit that decided the battle? Well... Share your stories HERE!! There are two ways to post: a) Battle Videos: If you've played any game from Platinum onwards, then you'd know about the VS Recorder, that nifty little device that lets you record battles held in the Wi-Fi Colosseum or in any Battle Frontier facility! All you have to do is to post your battle video's ID number! If you've posted a video on YouTube, you can post the video's URL here, I guess. --> Sample of Battle Video Post: http://pokelightforums.com/single/?p=8025763&t=7163520 b) War Stories / Battle Logs: Sometimes, you just can't beat the classics. People who still love writing down their battles and people who use Pokemon Battle simulator programs that offer a battle log option can post their stories here. --> Sample of War Story Post: http://pokelightforums.com/single/?p=8044047&t=7163520 NOTE: Some things to keep in mind: 1) You might be ok with posting your battle log, but your opponent might not due to a number of reasons (ie, they want to keep their team a secret; they don't want people to know about their embarrassing loss to you; etc). ... So, to be safe, ask their permission first? (Insert Shrug Shoulders Smiley Here) 2) There is no #2. ======================== Ok. Time to share mine: Battle Video ID#: 60-47238-52980 Description: It's me versus Castle Valet Darach. It's the challenge for the Silver Castle Print! I made his team level up to Lv. 55. I wanted it to be challenging. Anyway, enjoy, guys! I'll also do the same when I battle Butler Man for the Gold Print. Edited by tobi-ksla, Nov 27 2009, 12:12 PM.

Whatever happened to good old fashioned warstories you kids these days have life too easy. Match I had back in April I think, saved the log. Global Warming's/Coffee's team: Tuffy's team will be revealed at the end cause of "suspence" iTuffy's moves will look like this. global warming's moves will look like this. other text will look like this. Sandstorm/hail damage will be removed. Scores will be shown after each KO. Rules: Evasion Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Sleep Clause, Soul Dew Clause, Species Clause iTuffy sent out Roserade (lvl 100 Roserade ?). global warming sent out Zapdos (lvl 100 Zapdos). Zapdos is exerting its pressure! iTuffy: gl global warming: gl global warming switched in Machamp (lvl 100 Machamp ?). Roserade used Sleep Powder. Machamp fell asleep! Well, it's a standard matchup here. Roserades run sleep powder almost everytime, and Zapdos is just too valuable to let drift off. Machamp doesn't care either way, so I let him take it. Based on my own experience he'll probably try to get some toxic spikes up, so a steel/psychic would be nice. iTuffy switched in Jirachi (lvl 100 Jirachi). global warming switched in Snorlax (lvl 100 Snorlax ?). Or a snorlax. At the time I thought it was kinda strange that he ran, but I put it down to prediction really. I could earthquake, or fire punch the jirachi but then that would ruin my surprise. Plus trick is really, REALLY annoying for lax. I just went to my best switchin to take a trick. global warming switched in Jirachi (lvl 100 Jirachi). Jirachi used Iron Head. It's not very effective... Jirachi lost 15% of its health. Sweet, no lefites = scarfer. He'll switch, so let's try and paralyze something. iTuffy switched in Kingdra (lvl 100 Kingdra ?). Jirachi used Body Slam. Kingdra lost 29% of its health. Try again. Jirachi used Body Slam. Kingdra lost 30% of its health. Kingdra is paralysed! It may be unable to move! Kingdra's Lum Berry cured its Paralysis! Kingdra used Dragon Dance. Kingdra's attack was raised. Kingdra's speed was raised. --- Jirachi used Body Slam. Kingdra lost 29% of its health. Kingdra is paralysed! It may be unable to move! Kingdra is paralysed! It can't move! --- Jirachi used Body Slam. Kingdra lost 30% of its health. iTuffy's Kingdra fainted. (5-6) First blood is always nice, even if it is slightly haxed. Jira's in a good position right now, so I'm curious to his next poke. iTuffy switched in Jirachi (lvl 100 Jirachi). global warming: ouch same turn para =/ Jirachi used Fire Punch. It's super effective! Jirachi lost 40% of its health. Jirachi was burned! Jirachi used Body Slam. It's not very effective... Jirachi lost 5% of its health. Jirachi is paralysed! It may be unable to move! Jirachi was hurt by its burn! Jirachi lost 12% of its health. ooo, double hax. I feel we both got something out of this, as my jirachi now cannot really wall and revenge kill at all, while I've basically made his scarf null and void. Knowing he's locked into a fire move, I go to my resist. global warming switched in Snorlax (lvl 100 Snorlax ?). Jirachi is paralysed! It can't move! at this point it was "pick your poison." Earthquake is the most obvious move here, so I won't go for that. I havn't seen any ghosts yet, and I really would like to know if he has a rotom form before I go round spamming body slam. Fire punch seemed liked the middle ground, because who switches heatran in to snorlax? iTuffy switched in Salamence (lvl 100 Salamence ?). Salamence's intimidate cut Snorlax's attack! Snorlax used Fire Punch. It's not very effective... Salamence lost 17% of its health. Needed Jira still, so my main plan was to switch in a gyara to take the intimidate, THEN switch in jira for the outrage. global warming switched in Gyarados (lvl 100 Gyarados ?). Gyarados's intimidate cut Salamence's attack! Salamence used Draco Meteor. Gyarados lost 93% of its health. Salamence's special attack was harshly lowered. Gyarados's Liechi Berry raised its attack! Salamence lost 10% of its health. T_T Salamence used Flamethrower. It's not very effective... Gyarados lost 10% of its health. global warming's Gyarados fainted. (5-5) Salamence lost 10% of its health. Mixmence can go slit itself. However, I did get the intimidate off which could help survive a outrage. I have no choice at this point, I wanted this thing crippled as soon as. global warming switched in Snorlax (lvl 100 Snorlax ?). iTuffy switched in Jirachi (lvl 100 Jirachi). Snorlax used Body Slam. It's not very effective... Jirachi lost 32% of its health. More fun with Jirachi global warming switched in Jirachi (lvl 100 Jirachi). Jirachi is paralysed! It can't move! Jirachi was hurt by its burn! Jirachi lost 12% of its health. --- Jirachi used Iron Head. It's not very effective... Jirachi lost 8% of its health. Jirachi flinched! Jirachi was hurt by its burn! Jirachi lost 12% of its health. --- Choice Scarf prohibits the use of this move. Jirachi used Iron Head. It's not very effective... Jirachi lost 7% of its health. Jirachi used Fire Punch. It's super effective! Jirachi lost 38% of its health. global warming's Jirachi fainted. (5-4) Your sacrifice won't be in vain jirachi. At this point I've seen Roserade/Jirachi/Salamence/Kingdra, with the jirachi being scarfed. It seems quite offensive in nature, so I doubt blissey showing her ugly face. Which means its safe for Zapdos to come out and play ^^ global warming switched in Zapdos (lvl 100 Zapdos). Zapdos is exerting its pressure! iTuffy switched in Heatran (lvl 100 Heatran ?). Zapdos used Substitute. Zapdos lost 25% of its health. Zapdos made a substitute! Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. So it begins. Zapdos used Discharge. Heatran lost 40% of its health. Heatran used Stealth Rock. Pointed stones float in the air around the foe's team! Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. --- Zapdos used Discharge. Heatran lost 41% of its health. Heatran is paralysed! It may be unable to move! Heatran used Fire Blast. The substitute took damage for Zapdos! Zapdos's substitute faded! Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. --- Zapdos used Substitute. Zapdos lost 25% of its health. Zapdos made a substitute! Heatran used Explosion. The substitute took damage for Zapdos! Zapdos's substitute faded! iTuffy's Heatran fainted. (4-4) Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. Well, heatran resorting to suicide could show that he has a problem with zapdos, so I need to keep him around for as long as possible. Although tbh I could've just discharged again and saved 25% of my health lol. iTuffy switched in Roserade (lvl 100 Roserade ?). Roserade used Leaf Storm. It's not very effective... Zapdos lost 36% of its health. Roserade's special attack was harshly lowered. Zapdos used Substitute. Zapdos lost 25% of its health. Zapdos made a substitute! Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. Wow, Leaf storm does a fair bit. iTuffy switched in Jirachi (lvl 100 Jirachi). Zapdos used Roost. Zapdos restored 50% of its health. Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. --- Zapdos used Discharge. Jirachi lost 31% of its health. Jirachi used Iron Head. It's not very effective... The substitute took damage for Zapdos! Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. --- iTuffy switched in Roserade (lvl 100 Roserade ?). Zapdos used Substitute. But it failed! Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. --- Roserade used Hidden Power. It's super effective! The substitute took damage for Zapdos! Zapdos's substitute faded! Zapdos used Discharge. It's not very effective... Roserade lost 22% of its health. Roserade is paralysed! It may be unable to move! Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. Okay, I'm going to save you some reading time. The next few moves basically consisted of me alternating between Sub and Roost untill he got para hax, then beating away with discharge and replenishing sub when needed. Untill... Zapdos used Discharge. It's not very effective... Roserade lost 22% of its health. iTuffy's Roserade fainted. (3-4) --- iTuffy switched in Salamence (lvl 100 Salamence ?). Oh god, not this again. I have no earthy idea how much a draco meteor can do to zapdos, so the safest option is to sub. Salamence's intimidate cut Zapdos's attack! Salamence used Draco Meteor. Zapdos lost 80% of its health. Salamence's special attack was harshly lowered. Salamence lost 10% of its health. Zapdos used Substitute. But it failed! Zapdos's leftovers restored its health a little! Zapdos restored 6% of its health. Maybe not lol. Something interesting is that this attack left zapdos on 26%, perfect for surviving SR that 1 last time. global warming switched in Snorlax (lvl 100 Snorlax ?). Pointed stones dug into Snorlax. Snorlax lost 12% of its health. Salamence used Draco Meteor. Snorlax lost 21% of its health. Salamence's special attack was harshly lowered. Salamence lost 10% of its health. --- Salamence used Outrage. Salamence went on a rampage! Snorlax lost 77% of its health. global warming's Snorlax fainted. (3-3) Salamence lost 10% of its health. hmm, outrage. Would've been the perfect time for Jirachi, but work with what you have. The best I have is my lil' onion <3 global warming switched in Celebi (lvl 100 Celebi). Pointed stones dug into Celebi. Celebi lost 12% of its health. Salamence used Outrage. Celebi lost 50% of its health. Salamence lost 10% of its health. Celebi used Recover. Celebi restored 50% of its health. Salamence's rampage ended. Salamence became confused! Celebi's leftovers restored its health a little! Celebi restored 6% of its health. Woo the damage turned out to be only 6% from this turn. He's confused now, and he's probably scared of a thunder wave coming off from celebi, plus the fact that mixmence is probably his key to victory. So let's grass knot whatever comes in. iTuffy switched in Vaporeon (lvl 100 Vaporeon ?). Celebi used Grass Knot. It's super effective! Vaporeon lost 33% of its health. Celebi's leftovers restored its health a little! Celebi restored 6% of its health. Vaporeon's leftovers restored its health a little! Vaporeon restored 6% of its health. Sweet, free stealth rock. Celebi used Stealth Rock. Pointed stones float in the air around the foe's team! Vaporeon used Wish. Vaporeon made a wish! Vaporeon's leftovers restored its health a little! Vaporeon restored 6% of its health. --- iTuffy: gg lol Celebi used Grass Knot. It's super effective! Vaporeon lost 32% of its health. Vaporeon used Surf. It's not very effective... Celebi lost 14% of its health. The wish came true! Vaporeon restored 50% of its health. Celebi's leftovers restored its health a little! Celebi restored 6% of its health. Vaporeon's leftovers restored its health a little! Vaporeon restored 6% of its health. That was cool, since the next time salamence comes in he dies, vaporeon can't do a thing to me and jirachi is just free zapdos healing time. Celebi used Grass Knot. It's super effective! Vaporeon lost 32% of its health. Vaporeon used Surf. It's not very effective... Celebi lost 16% of its health. Celebi's leftovers restored its health a little! Celebi restored 6% of its health. Vaporeon's leftovers restored its health a little! Vaporeon restored 6% of its health. --- iTuffy switched in Salamence (lvl 100 Salamence ?). Salamence's intimidate cut Celebi's attack! Pointed stones dug into Salamence. Salamence lost 25% of its health. iTuffy's Salamence fainted. (2-3) Celebi used Grass Knot. But there was no target! Celebi's leftovers restored its health a little! Celebi restored 6% of its health. --- iTuffy switched in Jirachi (lvl 100 Jirachi). Pointed stones dug into Jirachi. Jirachi lost 6% of its health. global warming: no ice beam? Celebi used Grass Knot. It's not very effective... Jirachi lost 4% of its health. Jirachi used Fire Punch. It's super effective! Celebi lost 28% of its health. Celebi's leftovers restored its health a little! Celebi restored 6% of its health. --- iTuffy: no surf hp elec, wish, protect Celebi used Hidden Power. It's super effective! Jirachi lost 30% of its health. iTuffy's Jirachi fainted. (1-3) Celebi's leftovers restored its health a little! Celebi restored 6% of its health. --- iTuffy switched in Vaporeon (lvl 100 Vaporeon ?). Pointed stones dug into Vaporeon. Vaporeon lost 12% of its health. global warming: ah global warming: gg Celebi used Grass Knot. --- Celebi used Grass Knot. It's super effective! Vaporeon lost 31% of its health. Vaporeon used Surf. It's not very effective... Celebi lost 14% of its health. Celebi's leftovers restored its health a little! Celebi restored 6% of its health. Vaporeon's leftovers restored its health a little! Vaporeon restored 6% of its health. --- iTuffy: heehee Celebi used Grass Knot. It's super effective! Vaporeon lost 34% of its health. iTuffy's Vaporeon fainted. (0-3) global warming wins! iTuffy: glwith rest of tournament global warming: thanks global warming: prob gonna need it vs marcio or sky iTuffy: just hope u para all there pokes ![]() GG Tuffy, thanks for the quater-final match. So I go through the Elite 4 in Heartgold Wednesday, ready for anything to happen. Will, master of psychic falls to my power. Koga, master ninja falls to my power. Bruno, the guy without a shirt, falls to my power. Karen does too. Now I walk with glory to my final battle before End Game. Lancelot himself. I waited for a glorious battle with him. I revamped my entire team because of what I saw. This was Round I. :gyarados: :rhydon: ![]() vs. :gyarados: :charizard: ![]() I started out by sending in my starter, but not most powerful, Meganium. It had undergone some training for Pokémon like Gyarados. I started out by choosing Toxic, but Gyarados outsped me, and induced an Ice Fang. Let me tell you, I have rarely been frozen, and to my greatest luck, it happened. I was worried already, because a battle that starts bad can end horribly. I decided to use a Full Restore, since Meganium was also low on HP. It worked out well, or so I thought, but Gyarados used another Ice Fang, not freezing me, but doing a good punch. I tried to make a hit back, but I was too slow. Toxic failed. Meganium failed. I decided to go with my own Gyarados, and it was Red! What now Lance!? I sent it out, and immediately used my recently learned Thunderbolt (thanks fro the TM Steven Garrard!). It worked fine, and One on Lance was out. Next up, his first Dragonite. This was the one at 50, which surprised me. I was ready, and used Ice Fang. Being level 55 at most powerful, my Gyarados did a good punch, and Dragonite was out. I couldn't believe it. In one hit, his most powerful was down and out! Next up, a 49er Draco. It used a Thunder Wave, bad luck for me accidentally hitting Earthquake. It really did bad, as Dragonite was able to knock Gyarados's HP down to red with Dragon Rush on and on. I neglected healing for some reason, and Gyarados was down. It was 4 vs 4. Rhydon was next. I was expecting some good power with Stone Edge against Charizard, but if that is what it takes to take out Dragonite, so be it. I was slower obviously, but Blizzard missed. Such luck! ^.^ Dragonite was down to half, one more could do it, and then, BAM came Hyper Beam. I suvived with my resistance, and took out Dragonite with one more Stone Edge. Next up was a choice I wanted- Charizard! I intended Rhydon to use Stone Edge, and I chose it. Charizard tried a Fire Fang, not so smart, and I hit with perfection. Aerodactyl came out this time. I was not ready, my Gyarados with Waterfall for it was out, but Piloswine was ready to come in. Rhydon had some damage, down to about 3/4 gone. Aerodactyl tried and succeeded with rock Slide, and out came...Pidgeot!? Yes, I decided it was time to go air borne instead of the ice type. With 3 to 2, I quickly chose to use Steel Wing, and success, I was faster, and at 52, stronger. It was a hard hit, but Aerodactyl made it, and punched back with Rock Slide. I LIVED WTF. I used a Steel Wing...yay. Now his final came out. Level 49 Dragonite. I hit with Quick Attack, not doing much. It hit a Blizzard, thus ending Pidgeot's rein of power. Out comes Piloswine, back it comes. Yep. At level 45, it was knocked out with one Hyper Beam. I was desperate now. Houndoom comes out. Level 49. This is getting heated. I decide to turn it up more with Overheat, and Dragonite resists and hits back with Thunder Wave. I use a Shadow Ball, and it is a critical hit. Dragonite uses Dragon Rush. Trapped in this cycle and barely alive, I use a full restore. Dragonite hits me, and I live, I go for a chance with Shadow Ball. Dragonite uses and misses with Dragon Rush. Full Restore omg. It is what kills. Dragonite, it misses with Dragon Rush, I hit again with Shadow Ball. It takes it down, but not out. This time Dragonite hits, and Houndoom falls. I'm out? I'm out. The victor by half of a Dragonite is Lance.
