Did you know that The Titanic Was not made with the best quality metal at the time..
This is a huge factor of why so many people died.. The ship would have not blown up if they used finer steel

As a matter of fact, the pressure of the Iceberg on the Titanic's hull was about 14,000 PSI and the steel that was used to create Titanic's hull only withstood about 9,000 PSI. They added a mixture of glass into the steel, which evidently, caused the initial sinking. Not only was the steel made out of "poor quality" steel, so were the rivets.

The Titanic never blew up, although some survivors claim that the Titanic actually did blow up towards the final plunge. The actual truth was that sometime after 1:10 AM (1:30 After the collision) the tilt in the Titanic began to put tremendous stress in the aft expansion joint so the ship literally began to buckle on its own wight. As the ship's tilt began increasing, so did the stress. Finally, the ship broke up from top to bottom NOT from bottom to top.

Now that you have saw me go on one of my rants, here is an interesting fact:

Every time you sneeze some of your brain cells die.

The number in my username, 479, is not only a prime number, but the sum of nine consecutive primes (37 + 41 + 43 + 47 + 53 + 59 + 61 + 67 + 71). Which is why it pwns.

Do those consecutive numbers have any meaning? The date of the apocalypse.

The three best-known western names in China: Jesus Christ, Richard Nixon, and Elvis Presley.

Not really, at least I don't think...

National Century Financial Enterprises: Former Dublin, Ohio based healthcare financing company that engaged in fraudulent schemes to bilk investors out of $3 billion in the largest fraud case of a privately held company. Most of the executives have been tried and convicted; however executive Rebecca S. Parrett, 60, went on the lam and remains a fugitive.

I've been interested in this case since seeing Ms. Parrett profiled on America's Most Wanted "15 Seconds of Shame" segment, and since I'm currently studying finance.

Apparently, if you put coke (as in the fizzy drink) on a scorpian, it was stab itself with its own stinger.

And a bit of DBZ trivia for you: did you know that Hercule and Dende are the only characters who live on Earth that haven't died once during the story line (not counting the end of GT, or course.)?

Those third brake lights on cars (the center mounted ones on the rear package shelf) have been required on cars since 1986.

1986 was also the last time that Hailey's Comet was visible.

Contrary to popular belief, dogs can't see exclusively in black and white. They can also see in reds and greens, but have difficulty distinguishing from the two.

In England, it snows in March, April and May.

According to the game Assassins Creed (and other sources), the world "as we know it" is supposed to end in 2012 when a certainc calendar I can't remember the name of ends.

Cats don't actually drink milk; it's bad for them.

The members of the PokeLight Forums have a blog section avaliable to them in there profiles, but it seems like nobody has noticed or are too lazy to actually write in it.

According to suicide statistics, Monday is the favored day for self-destruction.

Some fun Christmas facts for you all:

- The custom of using Christmas wreaths can be traced to the belief that the crown of thorns that Christ was forced to wear when he was crucified was made of holly

- In Brazil, Christmas is celebrated with fireworks.

- Three billion Christmas cards are sent annually in the United States.

- Poinsettias are poisonous to dogs & cats

- The tradition of kissing under the mistletoe dates back to a time of poor bodily hygiene, thus gathering under tthe plant was meant to disguise foul odors

- Christmas and Valentines Day are the two times in the year when engagements are at their peak. As such, when the relationship falls apart, people cite this holiday as depressing or stressful, rather than joyous.
